What is Ulgicid Suspension?

Ulgicid Suspension is an antacid containing aluminium hydroxide, simethicone, alginic acid and magnesium hydroxide. It is used to relieve:
• Heartburn
• Acid reflux
• Indigestion
• Gas and bloating

How do I take Ulgicid Suspension?
  • Shake the bottle well before each use. Measure the dose using a medicine cup or spoon. Take it between meals and at bedtime or as directed by your doctor. Avoid drinking water immediately after taking the medicine to allow proper coating of the stomach lining.
What dosage do I take?
  • The correct dosage depends on your condition and medical advice. General guidelines include:
    • Adults: 10–20 ml, 3–4 times daily between meals and at bedtime
    • Do not exceed 80 ml in 24 hours unless directed by a doctor
    • Not recommended for long-term use without medical supervision
    • Children 6–12 years: 5 ml, 3–4 times daily
What are the potential side effect?
  • Ulgicid Suspension is generally well tolerated.
    Possible side effects include:
    • Constipation (from aluminium content)
    • Diarrhea (from magnesium content)
