Description
Tobramycin Eye Drops is an antibiotic eye medication used for the treatment of:
• Bacterial conjunctivitis
• Eyelid infections
• Other susceptible bacterial eye infections
Wash your hands before use. Tilt your head back and pull down the lower eyelid. Instill the prescribed number of drops into the eye. Close the eye gently for about a minute. Avoid touching the dropper tip to the eye or any surface.
Use only as directed by a healthcare professional. Typical guide:
• Mild to moderate infection: 1–2 drops every 4–6 hours
• Severe infection: may be used more frequently at the start, then reduced
• Complete the full treatment course even if symptoms improve.
Generally well tolerated. Possible side effects include:
• Temporary eye stinging or burning
• Redness or itching
• Blurred vision briefly after use
