Tribotan Cream is a broad-spectrum topical medication manufactured by Fidson Healthcare. Designed in age-specific formulations, it treats various superficial skin conditions caused by fungal and bacterial pathogens:
Adult Tribotan Cream: Formulated with active agents like clotrimazole combined with antibacterial and anti-inflammatory ingredients to treat conditions such as ringworm, athlete’s foot, jock itch, fungal sweat rashes in skin folds, and superficial skin inflammation.
Baby Tribotan Cream: Specially formulated with lower, gentler concentrations (including 0.5% clotrimazole and 0.2% ichthammol) tailored for delicate infant skin. It is used to prevent and treat diaper/nappy rash, heat rash, eczema, and minor skin irritations.
Preparation: Clean and dry the affected area completely before application.
Application Method: Wash hands thoroughly before and after use. Apply a thin layer of cream gently over the affected skin area.
Avoidance Areas: Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, or open wounds.
Strict Age Separation: Never use Adult Tribotan Cream on infants or young children, as the stronger active ingredients can cause severe chemical burns or skin irritation.
Application Frequency: Typically applied 2 to 3 times daily to the affected area, or strictly as directed by a physician.
