Benylin Paediatric is a children’s cough syrup formulated to:
- Relieve dry, tickly, or irritating coughs
- Soothe the throat and upper airways
- Help children rest better during mild colds or upper respiratory infections
- It often contains dextromethorphan or soothing ingredients, depending on the formulation.
How do I take Benylin Paediatric Syrup?
Shake the bottle well before use.
- Measure using the included spoon or dosing cup
- Give after meals or at bedtime, as recommended
- Ensure the child drinks plenty of fluids during the day
What dosage do I take?
Dosage varies by age and specific formulation:
- 2–5 years: 2.5 ml every 4–6 hours
- 6–12 years: 5 ml every 4–6 hours
- Do not exceed 4 doses in 24 hours
- Not recommended for children under 2 years unless prescribed
