What is Diora Shea Butter?

Diora Shea Butter is a rich, natural fat extracted from the nuts of the shea tree. It is packed with vitamins A, E, and F, as well as essential fatty acids. It is used to relieve:

  • Extreme dryness and flaky skin.
  • Eczema and dermatitis symptoms.

  • Stretch marks and minor scarring.

  • Hair breakage and dry, itchy scalp.

  • Minor burns and sunburned skin.

How do I use Diora Shea Butter?

For the best application, scoop a small amount into your palms and rub them together. The heat from your hands will melt the butter into an oil, making it easier to spread.

  • For Skin: Massage into damp skin after a bath for maximum absorption.

  • For Hair: Apply to the ends of hair to prevent split ends, or use as a sealant over a water-based leave-in conditioner.

  • For Scalp: Gently massage a small amount into the scalp to soothe dryness.

What dosage do I take?

Diora Shea Butter is gentle enough for daily use and is suitable for all ages, including infants.

  • Daily Moisturizing: Apply once or twice daily, especially on rough areas like elbows, knees, and heels.

  • Hair Treatment: Use 2–3 times a week or as part of your “L.C.O” (Liquid, Cream, Oil) hair care method.

  • Lip Balm: Apply as often as needed to prevent chapped lips.

What are the potential side effect?

Shea butter is generally considered safe and non-toxic, but there are a few things to keep in mind:

  • Latex Allergy: Shea trees contain a natural substance similar to latex; individuals with severe latex allergies should perform a patch test first.

  • Pore Clogging (Comedogenicity): While shea butter is low on the comedogenic scale, those with very oily or acne-prone skin should use it sparingly on the face to avoid breakouts.

  • Allergic Reaction: Very rarely, individuals with nut allergies may react to shea, though it is a fruit-derived fat. Store in a cool, dry place. If the butter melts in high heat, place it in the fridge for 20 minutes to firm it back up.
