Piccan Ibuprofen Suspension is a children’s pain reliever and anti-inflammatory medicine. It is used to:
- Reduce fever
- Relieve mild to moderate pain (headache, earache, sore throat, toothache)
- Ease symptoms of cold or flu
- Manage inflammation from sprains or minor injuries
How do I take Piccan Ibuprofen for Children?
Shake the bottle well before use.
- Measure the dose with a medicine spoon or syringe
- Give after food to reduce stomach upset
- Ensure the child drinks fluids while on treatment
What dosage do I take?
Dosage is based on age and body weight:
- 3–6 months (>5kg): 2.5ml, max 3 doses/24h
- 6–12 months: 2.5ml, max 3 doses/24h
- 1–2 years: 2.5ml, max 3–4 doses/24h
- 3–7 years: 5ml, max 3–4 doses/24h
- 8–12 years: 10ml, max 3–4 doses/24h
