Description
Terbinafine cream is a topical antifungal medication used to treat various fungal skin infections. It is used to relieve:
• Athlete’s foot (tinea pedis)
• Jock itch (tinea cruris)
• Ringworm (tinea corporis)
• Pityriasis (tinea) versicolor
• Fungal sweat rashes (candidiasis).

Cleanse and dry the affected area and the skin around it thoroughly. Apply a thin layer of cream to the affected skin and a small amount of the surrounding area, rubbing it in gently. Wash your hands immediately after use to avoid spreading the infection.
Usage depends on the type and severity of the fungal infection. General guidance includes:
• Athlete’s Foot: Apply once or twice daily for 1 week • Jock Itch and Ringworm: Apply once daily for 1 week • Tinea Versicolor: Apply once or twice daily for 1 to 2 weeks
• Continue using the cream for the full recommended period, even if symptoms disappear, to ensure the infection does not return.
Terbinafine cream is generally well tolerated, but local reactions may occur. Possible side effects include:
• Skin peeling or redness at the application site
• Mild stinging or burning sensation
• Itching or skin irritation
• Allergic reaction (rare) Stop use and consult a healthcare professional if you develop a severe rash, swelling, or blistering.
Avoid contact with eyes, nose, or mouth. Store in a cool, dry place and keep out of reach of children.
